WARWICK—The state Division of Taxation suspended the retail sales permit of the amusement park, Rocky Point, after it said the company failed to pay its taxes. A few days later, the Division temporarily reinstated the permit on the condition that Rocky Point pay the overdue taxes by December 1. Yanking the permit just about closed down the park, since none of the vendors could sell food or drink.
